Over the past 15+ years of my design career I have evolved from designing logos and marketing campaigns all the way to architecting enterprise level design systems. I lead cross-functional teams by defining and championing system level design decisions to ensure consistency across all teams. My work does not just ship products, it shapes how entire teams design them.

Senior UX Designer • Design Systems and Product Design
Led the Hexagon design system for App Studio, a low code/no code app builder for developers. The redesign led to the introduction of design tokens which ensured consistent language between engineering and design and the reduction of tech debt and implementation friction and a design direction outside of Amazon’s normal design standards which enabled further innovation. Transitioned to Amazon Quick as the lead architect and author of the Continuum design system. Educates the UX team on building in Figma and vibe coding with Continuum by holding office hours, conducting workshops, and writing pattern documentation.

Designed new components and patterns for the Ripple design system and created comprehensive usage guidelines. Collaborated daily with design system engineers to maintain fidelity between design specifications continuously identifying opportunities to improve both the product and the process without a product manager. Maintained Watermark’s Sketch UI Library to ensure all product designers were working from a single, up-to-date source of truth across the company’s full suite of products.

Created mobile app flows for the Netspend Online Account Center used daily by millions of cardholders by completing user journeys, conducting user testing to iterate and mocking up wireframes. Additionally was the lead product designer for the line of white label apps which include H-E-B, WWE, MLB, and PayPal and ensured third party brand theming was applied according to spec for the clients.

Conceptualized and executed brand creative across digital and print for Dell’s internal global audiences, translating complex technical and strategic narratives into clear, compelling visual communications. Started as an intern and worked up to promotion as a senior graphic designer by designing and leading creative direction for the marketing team at Austin Resource Recovery. Conceptualized and designed marketing materials that educated Austin residents on their trash and recycling service. Developed and directed marketing strategy, designed and managed digital content across the City’s web presence, social media channels, and mass email communications.
